Solution Overview

Software-defined Radio Technology

Traditional radio systems were implemented on analog electronic circuit technology.
However, in recent years, with the increasing sophistication and digitization of communication systems, digital signal processing has taken on a larger role. With the exception of some analog circuits (*1), the trend to replace all processing with general-purpose digital signal processing hardware (*2) has been and still is accelerating.
The result has been the birth of "software-defined radio."

In software-defined radio technology, most of the functionality of traditional radio is implemented in software.
Today, this technology has become essential to all kinds of development. For example, it is used in the development of 4G/5G and other advanced digital radio communication equipment, as well as transmitters and receivers for terrestrial digital broadcasting (TV).
