- Kozo Keikaku Engineering was established on May 6, 1959.
- What is the origin of the name "Kozo Keikaku Engineering"?
- "Kozo" is Japanese for "structure" and "keikaku" is Japanese for "planning". The Company started its business as a structural design office and its founding principle was to contribute to society by serving as a bridge between academia and industry. Even though our business has expanded beyond structural design activities, we have always held fast to our founding spirit and never changed our name.

- Our company began as a structural design office. In 1961, when we pioneered the introduction of a computer system for structural design, we began pushing for the development of software that led us to our deep involvement in the mobile telecommunications. In recent years, we've broadly expanded our business by applying our techniques fostered over many years of toiling in the construction and telecommunications fields in the manufacturing industry.
